I live in the Smoky Mountains along with my Airedale and we're having quite a few Black Bear encounters this year - 2009. So I thought I'd share stories and whenever possible pictures of our encounters. Which this year is almost daily.
My other goal is to help educate folks about Black Bears. These are wonderful, intelligent, goofy and shy creatures. Albeit, WILD ANIMALS and must be respected.
